• Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) in California has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with us for a compressed air energy storage project.
• Valued at nearly $1 billion, the agreement entails Hydrostor delivering 200 MW and 1,600 MWh of energy storage from its Willow Rock Energy Storage Center, using Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage (A-CAES) technology.
• The project aims to deliver 500 MW of clean power for up to 8 hours and reduce the need for new peaking power plants and transmission lines.
• Our technology combines compressed air and pumped hydro systems, ensuring constant pressure using a water reservoir with a projected lifespan of over 50 years.
